About Us
The Northeast South Dakota Economic Corporation (NESDEC) is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit community development corporation. NESDEC currently serves 22 counties in South Dakota: Beadle, Brown, Buffalo, Campbell, Clark, Codington, Day, Edmunds, Faulk, Grant, Hand, Hyde, Jerauld, Kingsbury, Marshall, McPherson, Miner, Potter, Roberts, Sanborn, Spink and Walworth.

NESDEC Provides economic opportunities to the residents of its service area, through business loans, technical assistance, and partnerships with financial institutions and other business assistance organizations.

  Over 90 area banks participate with NESDEC's loan programs. If your banker does not know about our loan programs, contact a NESDEC representative. NESDEC helps businesses that are operating to earn a profit. The business must adhere to federal and state guidelines.  
     
  NESDEC works with the Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC). Businesses who would like assistance planning, financial projections, and overall business management may contact the Small Business Development Center. They provide professional, confidential and no-cost business consulting services, including one-on-one counseling and training, to individuals starting a business or looking for ways to improve an existing business.
