GROW South Dakota's Mission: GROWing sustainable communities through housing, educational and economic opportunities.

GROW South Dakota is a private non-profit corporation established in 2007 and an Emerging CDFI. GROW South Dakota's purpose is to promote and foster economic development in distressed communities and underserved markets in South Dakota. With that purpose in mind, GROW South Dakota has established three goals:

 

1.     To service individuals and communities through loan products and development services;

2.     Attract new business to the rural communities of South Dakota; and

3.     Promote the establishment of a positive business, economic and housing environment.

 

Financial products and services to be provided:

 

1.     Direct Loans for Business & Housing Development

2.     Business Development Services

3.     First Mortgages

4.     Refinancing Loan Products

5.     Home Rehab Loan Products

6.     Homebuyer Education

 

Impacts and Outcomes: Through the provision of capital lending funds, GROW South Dakota will be able to build the organization necessary to assist South Dakota in developing a strong and healthy economic climate that will draw people back to rural South Dakota, while creating a place for businesses to achieve and sustain positive economic growth.
